IE FTP Enhancer adds an FTP button in the Internet Explorer toolbar
allowing you to easily connect to all your FTP servers from the web browser.
To show or hide IE FTP Enhancer in Internet Explorer simply right mouse click
on the Internet Explorer toolbar and click the "IE FTP Enhancer" popup menu.
You can also select the "IE FTP Enhancer" menu from Internet Explorers
"View/Toolbars" menu.
You are entitled to use IE FTP
Enhancer free of charge for 30 days to evaluate
it. You must then buy a registration code or uninstall the software.
To buy a registration code you can click the 'Purchase
registration code' menu from the
'FTP Servers' drop down menu button.
To enter your registration number
click the "Enter registration code" menu and fill out your name, company name if applicable and
enter the serial number you received.
FTP address book
Click the "FTP address book" menu to bring up your FTP address
book dialog. From here you can add, edit or delete FTP server addresses as well
as connect to the selected server.

Add New
To enter a new address click the "Add new" button. This will show
the New FTP server address dialog. You can save FTP server settings such
as username, password, port number etc. in the address book. These details
are stored in an AES 256 bit encrypted file on your computer so you can easily
connect to all your FTP servers. If you have trouble connecting through a
firewall you should check "Connect in passive mode".
If you check "Open Windows Explorer when connecting to this
server", then a copy of Windows Explorer is loaded when you connect to this web
site and opened at the directory path of your choice. This allows you to easily
drag and drop files from your hard drive to your FTP server and vice versa.

Edit will allow you to alter the selected FTP server address.
Delete will remove the selected FTP server from your address
book.
Connect will log onto the selected FTP server.
Uploading and downloading files
To download files simply select the files you wish to download
from the connected site, right mouse click on the selected files and choose
"Copy To Folder" from the popup menu. You then just choose the desired download
folder and click OK. You can also drag and drop the selected files to a folder
in Windows Explorer. (Except if you are running Windows 98 where this feature
is not available).

To upload files simply select the files you wish to upload in
Windows Explorer and then drag and drop them to the connected FTP site in
Internet Explorer.
About
Click "About" to bring up the "About IE FTP
Enhancer" dialog. This will allow you to enter your name and registration
number and also purchase a registration number online. It also displays the
number of days you have remaining for your free trial.
Change directory to

This
will show the "Change
Directory" dialog. This
allows you to quickly change
to a
directory path relative to
the root folder. For example
"pub/games/doom3" would take
you to the
folder "ftp://domain.com/pub/games/doom3" folder.
Enter registration code
This will allow you to enter your name and registration
number.
Purchase registration code
This will allow you to purchase a registration code from a secure online site.
The cost is $US9.95.
Connect (last used)
This will display the last FTP server you connected to
allowing you to simply click this menu to reconnect.
Connect (all servers)
This will list all your FTP servers in the popup menu allowing
you to simply click to connect to the server of your choice. It will initially
be empty until you add addresses to your address book.
Popup Windows Explorer
If this menu option is checked it will popup Windows Explorer
and open it to the folder path you have selected. This allows you to easily
drag and drop files between your local paths and the FTP server.
IE FTP Enhancer installs shortcuts in the start menu as
pictured below.

Uninstall
Before you uninstall, close all copies of Internet Explorer and
windows explorer as they could lock up some of the installed files.
